How do I know if Lions is right for me? or if I will fit in?

A lot of people are unsure of joining a service organization. Check out some testimonials:

I joined the club to give back to the community that I live and work in. I was worried at first if I would fit in because of my age. I was amazed with how much fun the members have and how many projects I can use my skills to help the club. The meetings were fun and informative. I am glad I joined!

--28 Year old Renton Business Executive

I joined the club because a neighbor of mine was an active Lion, I own a small business and found that working with the many projects that the Lions have, I was able to use my skills to help. I cant always make all the meetings, but I always try to be to as many events as I can to help.

--40 Year old Renton Business Owner

I joined the club because I had some extra time and wanted to give back to the community where I lived all my life. I enjoy the social aspect and the ability to see old friends and make new friends each week. I am active in many of the clubs activities and glad to help where I can.

The Renton Lions Club has served our community since 1938. Today, Renton Lions Club includes enthusiastic, community–minded men and women of all ages, meeting contemporary needs with ongoing solutions in the city of Renton and beyond.

Renton Lions have traditionally provided glasses, hearing aids, clothing and food for the less fortunate among us.

A vision for the future

To ensure that we stay in touch with current needs and provide the best services possible, we are investing in our future… our members and our community… by supporting various positive, life–changing leadership opportunities.

We are currently celebrating the good deeds of the youth in Renton by providing scholarships to select members of the senior class of the high schools in Renton. We also hope to strengthen the inter–generational relationships between Renton’s youth and senior populations.
